Dr. Neil Fine is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon providing state of the art plastic surgery in Chicago. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the combined Brigham & Women’s Hospital – Children’s Hospital – Harvard Medical School program in Boston, Massachusetts. He also pursued additional training in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York, New York.
Dr. Fine is certified as a diplomate by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of several local and national professional organizations. He holds a hospital appointment at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fine holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and also has held multiple committee positions within Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University Medical School. He has been involved in leading a multitude of educational courses and symposia around the world, and has contributed chapters to numerous medical text books.
Dr. Fine has been honored by being listed among the “Top Doctors” in Chicago Magazine from 2001 to 2005, and in the Castle Connolly Guide from 2001 to 2009. He was also awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Department of Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was listed in the “Best Doctors in America” database for breast reconstruction.
