A Special Message From Dr. Neil Fine
I have had the privilege of providing reconstructive options for Breast Cancer patients for 25 years. As I reflect on this time, I realize that they have taught me many lessons. Here are a few of the many things I have learned from these women who are facing tough choice in their lives:
- Unique – No two women are the same, each woman brings their own perspective and deserves their own plan.
- Courageous – The courage they bring to this problem inspires me to always try my best.
- Compassion – Their concern for others even at this challenging time for themselves, is inspirational.
But, most of all the lesson of GRATITUDE. I am truly grateful for all they have done both professionally and privately to help me grow as a surgeon and person.
I look forward to many more years of working closely with this amazing group of women.
What Breast Cancer Awareness Month Means to Us
During this breast reconstruction awareness month, Dr. Schierle discusses his thoughts on the blending of art and science, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery that is at the heart of Plastic Surgery and all we do here at NSPS.
3D Nipple Tattooing
Tattoo artist Jeff Paetzold has been involved at NSPS since 2011. Jeff’s 3-Dimension tattoo technique for breast reconstruction provides patients with a realistic representation of nipples and areolas.
Are you familiar with our #ShareTheConfidence program? The goal of the program is for every HydraFacial at the Med Spa, a portion of the of the treatment fees goes towards providing a breast cancer patient with a complementary HydraFacial once her breast reconstruction is complete!
